The Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana acknowledged that it failed to make a recent revenue sharing payment due to "fluctuations" in receipts at the Paragon Casino Resort.

The tribe didn't share revenues with local communities for the final quarter of 2013. "Due to such fluctuations in the fourth quarter in 2013, Paragon was not required to make a quarterly contribution to the parish," the tribe said in a press release that was sent to The Avoyelles Journal.

The casino got back on track in the first quarter of 2014 and revenues will be shared once again, the tribe said.
