The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut reported a 10.5 percent decline in slot machine revenues for the month of April. Foxwoods Resort Casino took in $39.8 million, the tribe said in a press release. That's down from $44.5 million in April 2013. The report came after the tribe said it would be shutting down some table games and some slot machines in a portion of the casino during early weekday hours, from 4am to 9am, Monday through Friday. The tribe also plans to address staffing levels, an indication of potential layoffs. Get the Story:
