The Menominee Nation of Wisconsin broke ground on an $8 million casino expansion project.

The tribe is adding 25,000 square-feet to the Menominee Casino Resort. There will be new slot machines, an expanded bar and lounge, a new entrance and an upgraded ventilation system.

“We want to offer the best possible service we can to everybody,” general manager Jim Reiter told KLUK.

The project will be completed in the fall.
