Hundreds of people are hopeful for jobs at the casino owned by the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe of Wisconsin.

The tribe is opening a $160 million, 371,000 square-foot hotel with 381 rooms at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in early fall. Some 250 people will be hired.

“We are looking to put people to work and we’re really, really pleased with being able to extend that opportunity to so many people,” spokesperson Ryan Amundson told WISN.

The hotel isn't the only change at the facility. The tribe is now able to convert its expo center into an entertainment venue.
