Samuel Askew, the casino manager for the Tulalip Tribes of Washington, has lost more than 100 pounds since March 2013.

Askew said bad habits had him tipping the scales at 337 pounds. He worked too much and ate too much.

“Just snacking with sodas and whatever else was there. Then I would get home late at night and I would be starving, so I would gorge myself. I would go to bed and do it all over again next day,” Askew told The Everett Business Herald.

Askew started making diet and lifestyle changes in hopes of staying healthy for himself and his family. He's lost 112 pounds so far and plans to lose another 30.

“Tulalip has always been very good about taking care of their team members in that respect. We have a gym here at the resort that is specific for team members, free of charge every day all day,” Askew told the Herald.

Askew has worked for the Tulalip Resort Casino since January 2012.
