The Umatilla Tribes of Oregon will spend $1 million to add a non-smoking lounge and bar at its casino.

The lounge at the Wildhorse Resort & Casino will be located in a space that currently houses a deli, which will be moved to a different part of the facility. The new area is expected to open by the end of the year.

“It will offer a quieter ambiance,” Wildhorse CEO Gary George told The East Oregonian. That’s what we’ve been hearing from our guests. They want a place where they can relax, have conversations with friends and not have to speak over the music.”
