The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe of Wisconsin is being sued by the family of a casino patron who died after suffering a heart attack.

The wrongful death lawsuit claims staff at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino failed to help Peter Litwin when he suffered the heart attack in the early morning hours of September 3, 2011. He died several days later, on September 9, at the age of 61.

“Peter lay unattended by any casino employee or personnel" for several minutes, according to the complaint, which was filed by Litwin's wife, The Milwaukee Business Journal reported.

The lawsuit was filed in state court.
