American Gaming Association includes tribes in economic report

The American Gaming Association is releasing its annual economic impact report today as the Global Gaming Expo gets underway in Las Vegas, Nevada.

For the first time, the report includes tribes, according to the Associated Press. The AGA looked at revenues shared through Class III gaming compacts and other agreements, the AP said.

According to the report, gaming facilities paid $38 billion in federal, state and local taxes in 2013. More details will be available after its official release today.
