The Arizona Indian Gaming Association kicks off its annual convention on Wednesday.

The 2014 AIGA EXPO takes place November 5-7 at the We-Ko-Pa Resort & Conference Center. The facility is owned by the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation.

“Arizona presents a great case study of how Indian gaming has grown to be a vital resource of revenue,” AIGA executive director Valerie Spicer told Indian Country Today.

This year's agenda includes sessions on the outcome of the 2014 election, Internet gaming and regulation.
