The Puyallup Tribe of Washington helped authorities track down a murder suspect with the help of casino surveillance and security.

Video footage from the Emerald Queen Casino and Hotel captured the suspect's car. The tribe found his license plate and shared it with authorities.

"This is probably the worst place on earth to commit a crime because the cameras are always on,” spokesperson John Weymer told The Tacoma News-Tribune.

With the information, authorities arrested a 27-year-old man in Oregon. Weymer said the suspect wasn't a familiar customer at the casino.

The victim was identified as a 27-year-old man who tried to protect two women who were allegedly being threatened by the suspect. He was shot and killed early Saturday morning in the parking lot.
