The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation in Washington plan to hold a ceremonial opening for a $68 million casino sometime in May, The Omak Chronicle reported.

The tribe broke ground on the 12 Tribes Resort and Casino in May 2014. The facility will feature a 56,000 square-foot gaming floor with 500 electronic gaming machines and table games, two lounges, two restaurants and an 80-room hotel with meeting space and an indoor/outdoor pool.

When it's complete, the casino will be the largest on the reservation. An official opening is slated for sometime this summer, the Chronicle reported.

The casino draws its name from the 12 tribes that make up the Colville Reservation -- Colville, Nespelem, Sanpoil, Lakes or Sinixt, Palus, Wenatchi, Chelan, Entiat, Methow, southern Okanagan, Sinkiuse-Columbia, and the Nez Perce of Chief Joseph's Band.
