The Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe of Washington will add a hotel to its casino.

The 74,000 square-foot hotel will feature 94 rooms. It will be located at the original site of the The Point Casino.

“It will be a good shot in the arm for the local economy,” general manager Leo Culloo told The Kitsap Sun.

The casino itself moved into a new 52,000-square-foot building in 2012. The new hotel will be the second largest in North Kitsap, Kingston Community News reported.

The cost of the new hotel was not disclosed. It is due to open in the fall of 2016.
