The Warm Springs Tribes of Oregon plan to reopen a gaming facility as one of the largest fires in the U.S. rages near the reservation.

The tribe evacuated guests and employees of the Kah-Nee-Ta Resort and Spa on Friday out of an abundance of caution. Although the County Line 2 Fire did not pose a direct threat to the facility, officials were worried because of limited road access and smoke from the blaze.

The casino remained closed over the weekend. But it's due to reopen at noon today "thanks to the hard work the fire crews have to done to protect the community and resort," according to a post on Facebook.

The Indian Head Casino, another gaming facility on the reservation, remained opened over the weekend. But concerts there were canceled on Friday and Saturday due to a highway closure and "worsening the air-quality," according to a Facebook post.

The County Line 2 Fire has so far consumed about 55,000 acres. It's one of the largest active blazes in the U.S.
