Nottawaseppi Huron Band names Brian Decorah as leader of casino

The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi Indians in Michigan named Brian Decorah as the new leader of its casino.

Decorah is a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation. He will serve as the president and CEO of the FireKeepers Casino in Battle Creek.

“Brian Decorah brings passion and enthusiasm to the FireKeepers Team”, Chairman Homer A. Mandoka said in a press release. “He has a keen-eye for an optimal guest experience and expects to treat others, as they would treat him. He is skilled at earning respect from team members and I am confident he will lead us with vision and a dedication to successful operating results.”

Decorah started working at FireKeepers in 2013. He has 20 years of experience in the Indian gaming industry, having worked for his tribe and other tribes.

“I am truly humbled to continue my journey with FireKeepers as President and CEO,” Decorah said. “I am very fortunate to lead such a dedicated and professional team, as we maintain our commitment to being the casino of choice for our guests, and the employer of choice for our team members.”
