A fugitive who has been on the loose for eight months may have been seen at the casino owned by the Meskwaki Tribe of Iowa.

Tribal police assisted local authorities in searching for John David Henderson, 33, on Tuesday evening, The Toledo Chronicle reports. The suspect was allegedly seen jumping out of a third-story hotel room window at the Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel in Tama.

But the paper said there's no record of his apprehension, either by tribal or local police. Henderson escaped from the Fort Des Moines Community Corrections Complex in October 2015, the paper reported.
