A robbery at a casino owned by the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe in Michigan led to a lengthy chase and two arrests.

The incident began when a woman was robbed at gunpoint at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort on Tuesday, according to news reports. Two suspects fled the scene and were pursued by tribal and local police.

Eventually, the Michigan State Police took over after the suspects refused to stop and efforts to disable their vehicle failed, according to news reports. The chase finally ended after 50 miles and with the arrests of both men.

The men were traveling in a car that had apparently been stolen in Detroit, more than 150 miles from the Saginaw Chippewa casino. They are facing multiple charges in multiple jurisdictions, WWJ reported.
