The Swinomish Tribe of Washington has embarked on another casino expansion project.

The $20 million project at the Swinomish Casino & Lodge includes a 18,000-square-foot gaming room and a new cafe and food court, The Skagit Valley Herald reported. The old bingo hall, which closed earlier this month, is being converted into a break room and storage space, the paper said.

The work is occurring in phases. The entire project should be complete by late 2017, the paper reported.
