The tribe built an entirely new 34,000 square-foot structure for the Gray Wolf Peak Casino in Evaro. The facility features more than 300 gaming machines, a restaurant, a deli, a gift shop and an outdoor patio dining area.

Elders had complained about the project, saying it impacted a sacred site. The tribe scaled back plans amid concerns about the original size and cost.

The old casino will be torn down to make room for parking, according to news reports.
