But since October 10, the Hollywood Casino Jamul has not contributed to any serious problems on the road, Fox 5 reported.

“There have been no incidents associated with the casino relative to accidents, DUI or anything else," general manager Richard St. Jean said at a public hearing on the casino's liquor license, the station reported.

Opponents, however, say the casino should be denied a permanent liquor license due to safety issues. A group called Jamulians Against the Casino is also still trying to question the legal status of the the tribe's reservation.

The casino is operating under a temporary liquor permit that expires in March 2017. A decision on a permanent license hasn't been made and hearings will continue after the new year, Fox 5 reported.
