Little River Band payment puts gaming revenue sharing at $32.1M

Under its Class III gaming compact, the tribe makes payments twice a year. The fall payment was $878,424 while the June payment was $710,408, the station reported.

The tribe opened the Little River Casino Resort in 1999 and is pursuing an off-reservation casino under the two-part determination provisions of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act. The environmental impact statement is still under review at the Bureau of Indian Affairs and a decision is likely years away.
