The tribal gaming commission reached out to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office in response to complaints of illegal narcotics being found at the Eagle Mountain Casino, according to a press release. The agencies conducted an undercover operation that resulted in arrests of people who were selling methamphetamine and marijuana.

"The Sheriff’s Department and the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission, a branch of the Tule River Tribal Council, are taking a zero tolerance and a proactive approach to these types of activities on the casino property," the press release stated.

The tribe and the sheriff conducted a similar sweep several years ago, according to the county.
