Pala Band launches another online gambling site in New Jersey

The Pala Band of Mission Indians has launched a third internet gambling site for patrons in New Jersey.

The effort began when Pala Interactive won approval from state regulators in 2014. The tribe now operates PalaPoker.com, PalaCasino.com and PalaBingoUSA.com.

"We are excited to get our poker product launched as we have spent the last three years building a new poker platform in preparation for state based online gaming regulation in the U.S.," Jim Ryan, the CEO of Pala Interactive, said in a press release.

The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 outlaws Internet gaming unless it is conducted under a Class III gaming compact or state law. New Jersey is one of the few states that has authorized it. Patrons must be physically based in the state to conduct wagers online.
