Forest County Potawatomi Community names chief executive officer for casino

The Forest County Potawatomi Community announced Rodney Ferguson as the chief operating officer and general manager of its casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Ferguson has worked at the Potawatomi Hotel and Casino since 2015, starting off as chief financial officer. He became chief operating officer in April 2016 before being promoted to his new role.

"On behalf of the tribe's executive council, this is a pivotal moment of growth at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino and we're so pleased Rodney will be leading these efforts," Chairman Harold "Gus" Frank said in a press release. "Rodney not only brings a wealth of experience in tribal gaming to this leadership role, but has an intimate knowledge of the operations in Milwaukee, which will serve the property very well."

The casino is undergoing an $80 million expansion that will bring a second hotel tower to the property. The project is expected to be complete in the spring of 2019.
