A police officer for the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe was killed on duty early Wednesday morning.
Adam Menuez was responding to a medical emergency when he apparently lost control of his vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Menuez served eight years in the U.S. Army and served two tours of duty in Afghanistan. He also worked at the Pentagon following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
