Pyle covers a lot of ground as Choctaw Nation chief

The Choctaw Nation is based in Oklahoma but members of the third-largest tribe in the U.S. live all over the country.

"There's Choctaws everywhere. We're kind of like beer cans. We're all up and down the road," said Chief Greg Pyle, The Alamogordo Daily News reported.

Fresh off a visit to Texas, Pyle went to New Mexico to speak to the Rotary Club in Alamagordo. He recounted some of the tribe's accomplishments, including a new hospital, seven casinos and government contracting companies.
