Elderly Navajo couple found dead in New Mexico

An elderly couple who went missing for more than a week were found dead near their home in Shiprock, New Mexico.

Elmer Benallie, 73, and his wife Lucille, 69, were last seen on March 27. Family members said they went to one o their cattle ranches.

After a three-day search in which the state was called in, the bodies of the couple were found Wednesday. Although there were no signs of foul play, the cause of death is not yet clear. They were close enough to other houses to walk, and they had a second vehicle which they could have driven.
