Adam Beach on NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
Adam Beach has signed a three-year contract to appear on the hit NBC series "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

"This is the best, dude," Beach tells NOW Magazine. "Every week you'll see my little mug."

Beach got the job after a guest spot on the show. He plays detective Chester Lake, who will reappear in the series later this month.

A member of the Salteaux First Nation in Manitoba, Beach also appears in the upcoming HBO movie "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" and "Luna: The Spirit of the Whale" on Canadian television.
