First Nations man charged with murder of daughter

A 21-year-old man from the Kettle First Nation in Saskatchewan has been charged with second-degree murder for the death of his baby daughter.

Jamie Justin Courtney is accused of killing 10-month-old Kiona Rain Jenaya Oakes. She had been taken to the hospital following serious injuries and died on Sunday.

Courtney also faces a sexual assault charge against a 21-year-old woman.
