Northern Cheyenne to dedicate community park

The Northern Cheyenne Tribe of Montana is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new community park.

The park called Hestane'heo'o Park, which means "The People's Park" in Cheyenne. It is located on 19 acres just outside of Lame Deer.

The facility has already been used for Little League games and features basketball courts, horseshoe pits, a playground, walking trails and softball/baseball fields. Plans call for a volleyball area, skate park, bow range, soccer fields and room for concessions.
