A police officer for the Seminole Tribe of Florida was charged with driving while intoxicated on Tuesday.
Derek C. Floyd, 29, was observed speeding and crossing lanes several times. A Tampa police officer noticed alcohol on his breath after pulling him over.
Floyd's blood alcohol level was 0.16, twice the state's legal limit.
