Indian employees group holds national conference

The American Indian-Alaska Native Employees Association of the Natural Resources Conservation Service is celebrating its 10th anniversary this week at its national conference.

The conference is being held in Corpus Christi, Texas. About 150 people, representing tribes across the nation, are attending.

The NRCS is an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture that helps private landowners and managers conserve their soil, water, and other natural resources.
