Former Otoe-Missouria clerk indicted for theft

A former clerk for the Otoe-Missouria Tribe of Oklahoma has been charged with embezzlement.

Derlena L. Lansford, 29, was indicted in state court. She allegedly stole more than $15,000 Otoe-Missouria Development Authority, where she worked.

The money was allegedly transferred into a bank account Lansford created in the name of the "Girl Scouts."
