Navajo student pleads not guilty to murder

An 18-year-old Navajo student at University of Arizona pleaded not guilty to murdering her roommate.

Galareka Harrison is accused of stabbing Mia Henderson, also 18 and Navajo, in their dorm room. Harrison and Henderson were both freshman in UA's Native American Young Scholars program.

Harrison, who appeared via closed-circuit television, is charged with first-degree murder, three counts of forgery for writing checks that belonged to Henderson and one count of identity theft.
