La Jolla Band accepting donations after fire

Members of the La Jolla Band of Luiseno Indians are in need of clothes, food and other supplies after seeing their reservation nearly destroyed by fire.

Calvin Rodriguez is organizing donations for the tribe and can be reached at (760) 271-8671. The tribe is also working with the After the Fires Fund of the San Diego Foundation.

The La Jolla Band was one of the hardest hit by the southern California fires. Nearly all of the reservation was burned and 59 homes were destroyed.
