Saginaw Chippewa Tribe reaches water deal

The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan has reached a water usage agreement with the Union Township.

The township will supply water to 70 acres of trust land. The tribe will pay for installation and maintenance of water mains, transmission lines and all other construction work.

The agreement lasts for 20 years.
