Teacher was 'abducted' for Native ceremony

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said a teacher who was taken from her school is participating in a Coast Salish ceremony and isn't being held captive.

Roxanne Harris, 32, was taken by four members of the Chemainus First Nation in British Columbia. She is taking part in a longhouse ceremony that will last several days.

But some of her colleagues at North Oyster Elementary School were concerned that Harris was taken against her will. There were conflicting reports on whether people knew Harris was going to be taking a leave of absence.
