Tulalip Tribes to host Coast Salish Gathering
The Tulalip Tribes of Washington will host the third Coast Salish Gathering next month.

Tribal leaders from the Pacific Northwest and Canada will attend the event, which runs February 27-29. They will discuss ways to protect the environment in the region.

"The Gathering facilitates a shared effort to identify priority environmental concerns, issues and projects in the transboundary Coast Salish Region that is comprised of the Puget Sound in the United States, the Georgia Basin in Canada, and the Straits of Juan de Fuca shared by both countries," the event's website states.
