Pueblo concerned about airline flight patterns

Santo Domingo Pueblo in New Mexico is worried about flight patterns over its reservation.

American Eagle and Delta Air Lines want to start flights from Santa Fe to Los Angeles. Since the airplanes would fly over the reservation, the tribe is concerned about noise and photography.

The state Historic Preservation Division plans to consult the tribe about the flight patterns. The outcome of the talks will affect the environmental assessment that is being sent to the Federal Aviation Administration for final approval.

American Eagle and Delta wanted to start the flights in December. Currently, there is no commercial air service in and out of the Santa Fe airport.
