Letter: Rename peak for Lori Piestewa again

"Five years ago, Lori Piestewa gave her life in service to her country.

Piestewa Peak was renamed in her honor as the first Native American woman to die in combat while serving in the U.S. military.

The normal five-year waiting period for this honor was "adjusted," raising questions of politics.

I believe Lori's memory would now best be served by the government approving this again, now that five years have past. Surely her sacrifice is worthy of this honor."
