Mohawk protesters block highway in land dispute

About 75 Mohawk protesters have blocked off a highway in Ontario as part of a land dispute.

The blockade on the main street through Deseronto went up Sunday night. Protesters want to stop work at a housing development that they say belongs to the Mohawks.

The move came on the two-year anniversary of a police raid on another Mohawk protest in Ontario. Members of the Six Nations have been occupying a housing site for more than two years.
