Forum addresses dairy farm on Yakama Reservation
Residents of the Yakama Reservation in Washington voiced opposition to a proposed dairy farm.

Members of the Yakama Nation recently passed a resolution that calls for a moratorium on new or expanded dairy operations. They are worried about the environmental and health impacts.

Some non-tribal members are concerned as well. Most of the residents near the proposed farm are non-Indian.

The tribe hasn't made a decision about enforcing the moratorium, chairman Ralph Sampson Jr. said.
