Arizona high court to consider Indian candidate case
The Arizona Supreme Court is being asked to hear a case that challenges the nominating petition for an Indian candidate.

State Sen. Albert Hale (D), a member of the Navajo Nation, is running for re-election. His nominating petition includes post office boxes from tribal members who live on the reservation.

Republican Royce Jenkins claims the P.O. boxes are invalid. He says petitions must list a person's physical address.

A lower court rejected the claim by Jenkins filed an appeal.
