Social workers tried to find missing Blackfeet boy
Social workers in Montana tried to find a two-year-old Blackfeet boy as far back as July, The Great Falls Tribune reported.

Summer Many White Horses, 31, was arrested on July 21 for drunken driving. She had her 11-year-old daughter in the car but said her son, James, was with a relative in Washington.

The Department of Public Health and Human Services investigated the claim and failed to find James. When Many White Horses was arrested a second time on August 14, she said her son was in Oregon, again prompting social workers to try to locate the boy.

It wasn't until Many White Horses' last arrest on September 5 that police finally discovered James in the trunk of her car. His body was badly decomposed.
