Crow chairman easily survives primary challenge
Members of the Crow Tribe of Montana went to the polls on Saturday to vote in a primary election.

Incumbent Chairman Carl Venne easily won the most votes out of eight candidates running for the post. With 1,687 votes, he will face Coolidge Jefferson Sr., who won 535.

Incumbent Vice Chair Cedric Black Eagle also won the most votes among the four candidates. He will face Adrian Bird Sr. in the general election on November 1.
