Fort Peck woman sentenced for stabbing incident
A woman from the Fort Peck Reservation in Montana was sentenced to 46 months in prison for a stabbing incident.

Valenda White Hawk, 30, pleaded guilty to assault resulting in serious bodily injury. She admitted she stabbed another woman at a house party in November 2007.

The victim sustained several serious stab wounds to her face and body.
