First Nations reach land deal with British Columbia
Four First Nations in British Columbia have settled their long-running land claims.

The Seton Lake Indian Band, the Gitwangak Band Council, the Metlakatla Band and the Lax Kw'alaams Indian Band lost land in what was known as the McKenna-McBride commission. The deals allow them to reclaim some of their land and receive some cash.

"They said the land was worthless. Now, 80 years later, all of a sudden here we are, and the land is priceless beyond our imagination," Gary John, a former Seton Lake chief, told CBC News.

The four claims are the last to be resolved among 22 claims.
