No mention of tribes on Obama transition website
President-elect Barack Obama launched Change.Gov on Thursday but there was no mention of tribes, American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Americans or Native Hawaiians anywhere on the site.

Obama adopted an Indian platform early on in his campaign. But the site, designed to aid with his transition into the White House, lacks any mention of the first Americans.

The agenda lists a wide range of topics, from civil rights to health care to veterans. There's also information about jobs in the new Obama administration.
