Nisqually Tribe to start work on $6.3M youth center
The Nisqually Tribe of Washington is breaking ground on a $6.3 million youth activities and community emergency center.

The 34,000 square-foot facility will offer a full gym, a large kitchen, a carving room, a craft room, a youth-activity room, education components, showers and lockers, staff space, an outdoor baseball field, and a picnic area. It is due to be completed by the end of next year, The Olympian reported.

The center is being financed by tribal and federal funds.
