Spirit Lake men charged with eagle violations
Two brothers have been charged in connection with the killing and sale of a bald eagle on the Spirit Lake Dakotah Nation in North Dakota.

James Robertson, 44, is accused of killing the eagle on the reservation last year. He has pleaded not guilty but is expected to change his plea, a federal prosecutor said.

Also charged is Kim Lee Robertson, 51. He is accused of buying the eagle from his brother.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service investigated the incident.
