Museum accused of mistreating Indian workers
The San Diego Museum of Man is investigating a complaint that three members of the Kumeyaay Nation were mistreated when some artifacts went missing last month.

Clint Linton, the owner of Red Tail Monitoring & Research Inc, said his employees were detained and searched. “They put everybody in a room, and after clearing people out, only the Indians were in there,” Linton told The San Diego Union-Tribune.

The museum hired Red Tail under a Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act grant. The museum receives federal and state funds, an issue that is being raised during its accreditation.
